My brother made this short clip after a trip to Norway with my Dad.  I think it’s a great way to document a holiday and want to learn how to do the same.

My brother Zac helping out in the Brisbane floods.
The Aussie Helper
Lach and Zac (brothers) decided to lend a hand yesterday when our neighbours had to move all of the furniture out of their house as the flood waters in Brisbane rose.
It seemed that everyone in Brisbane who wasn’t evacuating their house was helping out their neighbours. When Lach and Zac arrived at the scene to volunteer their ute to transport furniture to higher ground, there was already a convoy of trucks and utes waiting to be of used by the flood victims.
Lach joined a conga line that was formed to help transport the flooded contents of a house. People kept squeezing in beside Lach to help out in the conga line and it got to the point that so many were in the line that the transfer of furniture was actually slowing down! At one stage Lach said they carefully transferred a single boot down the 30 deep line. My brother ended up leaving 5mins later after realising he was a hindrance rather than help.
The level of enthusiasm to help out in the Brisbane flood was almost a hilarity with congo lines getting too long and utes being turned away. There were so many volunteers offering a hand yesterday that the Premier of QLD Anna Bligh asked for people to stop calling the volunteer services because it was clogging up the lines.
I love the Australian spirit demonstrated here. The willingness to help out in a time of crisis.  Great resilience, mateship and comradery were all on show!
We laughed when we saw Zac on page 3 of the Australian this morning looking rather heroic because he was actually only temporarily stablising the boat in the water and left a few minutes later after realising that 4 people to move the boat across the water was enough help.
